J.J. is growing up, he's a kid now!! He really has an imagination, this week he came to me and said "do you hear that?" "it's a elephant!!!!" He was pretending that there were animals all over the house in different rooms, then we went around and found them all. Some we had to run away from because we were scared, it was so cute.
I also discovered that J.J. has freckles now, ya know how babies never have any freckles or moles or anything. I guess I know for sure he's not a baby any more, I counted 5 freckles!
Then I have really observed J.J. when he is around other kids, either his cousins, or when I take him to volleyball at the church and there is lots of kids around, and I have noticed that he does not like conflict. When other kids are getting mad or fighting about something he tends to get as far away as possible. He avoids being in those situations where kids are getting mad or pushing. I guess that is a good thing.
He is growing up and it's fun to see his little personality come out even more! Josh said this about J.J.'s age "this is the age where Dad's start to like their kids." He just loves how JJ can play and communicate now. It's so fun!

Same Face!
So this was THE FIRST time I have been able to get a picture of these two together. Now, I know it's not the cutest, but I am just so happy JJ didn't push him off the couch. I had to hurry and get these. I thought it was funny because both pictures they have the same expression. I love these guys!
My Struggle!
How come I can't work out anymore! It used to be a MUST for me, and don't get me wrong it's still important to me, but just not my top priority. Now I barely work out twice a week (okay.... I'm counting chasing J.J. everyday as a workout) (he's big, so it counts :) All I know is, I have a Buckle gift card from my parents that I am anxious to spend on some new jeans. BUT I have to get rid of this muffin top before I'm buying anything new! I need to get my butt in gear and get serious! I need some motivation!

I've decided I'm DUMB!
I feel like I am getting so un smart lately. I have decided that I need to read more books or something because I feel like other than all the mom stuff that you learn, I don't know anything! When I learn about something or hear something new that little voice in my head says... "gilly, you should probably retain this information for future use in conversation, or just to have for general knowledge." And then I just forget everything! Do any other mom's feel this way??

Just an Update
So just to keep you all posted on our lives,
Carter has two teeth now
J.J.'s favorite animal has been the giraffe for the past 6 months, as of yesterday it is now the crocodile
Carter is learning to get his way by being very cute and very very loud
J.J. has been having nightmares about tumble weeds, at least that's what I thought he was saying
Carter likes to wake up many times in the night crying, and when I go in there he laughs at me ( I think he knows what he's doing)

Christmas Fun
Christmas was great this year, it was so fun to see both me and josh's families! We celebrated christmas eve and christmas with Josh's family. It was sooooo fun. We played deal or no deal, Bingo, ate lots of treats, went to a movie, and just hung out all together. I love josh's family, they are so fun to be around.
Then the day after christmas my mom and dad and brother made the trek up from Utah to Idaho. We had our christmas with them that night. We also ate lots of food, watched movies, and just hung out together. JJ loved having them here, he had such a blast playing with them and all his toys! This Christmas couldn't have been better!
