Gettin Greedy with the cots

So last week or so a neighbor let me in on a little secret that a few people were going down to pick apircots off of this ladies tree. (with permission of course) So we picked and picked AND picked. I came home with two HUGE bags full of cots. But I've realized that I get a little obsessive when stuff is free, I just feel like I have to get more and more. So the next morning when me and my friend went running we stopped by another house and picked and picked AND picked till we had 2 more bags heaping full.
I have so many apricots I have just been scrambling to use them all up before they go rotten. I've made some delicious fruit leather, Jam, muffins, I've dried a bunch and frozen a bunch. If you have a good recipe that calls for apricots let me know, I feel like such a homemaker.

Cramming in the summer fun

Does anyone else feel it in the air, summer seems to be coming to an end. I still believe we have another month of fabulously hot weather, but I just don't feel like I've worn my new swim suit enough, spent enough afternoons at the park, or running in the sprinklers and eating popcicles. At least there is a little more time.
Here are a few pictures of this last weeks summer fun

Twin Falls Temple

I am so excited about the temple opening soon! The last day for the open house was Saturday and me and Josh were able to volunteer. It was such a neat experience, we started the morning in the sealing room, it was AWESOME to see all the different people go through, and to hear the tour guides testimonies of the importance of eternal families.
Than the last hour I was in charge of traffic flow through the Celesital room. Don't ask me how I got so lucky to get the two best rooms in the temple. It was such a cool experience and I'm so glad we were able to do it.
They announced today that there were over 400 refferels, and they've already had 40 baptisms with many more planned. Can't wait for it to open!

Sad Day

It's finally set in, it's been a week since Alish and Doran moved down to Arizona. I am sad! I was really getting used to Alish and the kids being around while Doran was at training. I am going to miss seeing them all the time and doing fun things. I really feel like Alish is my own sister, we got so close when we were both pregnant in Logan and had our boys 2 days apart. I am going to miss you guys! Really! Alish, you better post lots of pics of that precious baby Crew, I bet he's already changed!
