It seems like EVERY kid has eczema or really dry skin problems, especially in the winter. My little Carter has the worst dry patches. My doctor just recomends lotioning 3 times daily with the lotion of your choice. I have tried a few different brands of lotion, does anyone have any recomendations?? Please let me know!

Hey Gil! I'm glad my kids aren't the only ones with eczema. It is SO annoying. Brandon gets it so bad and I used to have it as a kid. But luckily it went away as I got older. I use Stevens Skin Softener Cream. It's great and I use it on my face too. Also, I got a prescription for Brandon's eczema because it was so bad. If you can't get anything else, ask your doctor to give you one for Triamcinolone Acetonide cream. It made it go away the next day!! I love it. Let me know how everything goes!

My doc has us use cortozone 10 on Makaydi. It seriously works wonders! Good luck!

Your boys are so darling...We are expecting a boy and I cant wait! After two girls, I think id a gone crazy with another one!
Anyway my girls both have ecxema in the winter soooo bad. I have been just using the normal johnsons lotion that I normally do, but Ive been using 1/2 Hydrocortizone Cream 1% (from Costco, its really cheap too). So I just us half and half all over their bodies every morning, and its been working amazingly! Their skin has never been softer. Try it and see if it helps???
