I just added some recipe links! I actually just made the brownie cheesecake for a Recipe Club Exchange group that I am in at church. It is SOOOOO GOOD! If you like cheesecake this is great, and really not to hard at all. I think the presentation would have been excellent too, but on my home from work yesterday I was rushing so I could get home intime for the recipe group, when I called Josh to start warming up the caramel to put on top he said "that's not for us to eat?" I was thinking to myself, I wouldn't make a fancy cheesecake to eat after the Tuna casserole I made for dinner! It just doesn't go!
Anyway he had put it on the table, and JJ got into it, stabbing forks all over my delicious creation. I was devistated. No Recipe club for me last night. I even did some extra jump roping so I could go and eat alot. The theme was CHOCOLATE! I missed out for sure.
Anyway try the recipes. The muffins are good too, anything to get a few extra vitamins down JJ's throat!

A little WOBLY
Carter is STILL trying to master sitting up on his own. He can do it for a few seconds than he'll topple over. I had to take this picutre because we were trying on the shirt that grandma Funk brought back from her cruise. We were laughing because the shirt was SOOOOOO SMALL! It was for a newborn, but we stretched it out and made it work! I think it looks great.

Don't Worry Everyone, We're Okay!
I know you all were worried so I have to just let you know we're okay, we survived our first earthquake! Yes an earthquake, it's about the most exciting thing that's happened to me since I moved here, other than "drive your tractor to school day" That's actually pretty cool too!
I got up to feed Carter at about 7:15 and I heard the weirdest sounds, kind of like really strong wind, than our whole house just shook. It was the weirdest thing! I could see the baby swing just start swinging back and forth. We just kind of got a little shock wave from the BIG QUAKe in Wells, Nevada. I feel so cool that I was in an earthquake!

FUN WEEKEND!
This weekend was so fun, my mom and aunt Cheryl drove up to go to my cousins baby shower. They were able to come visit me Friday, and ofcourse my mom came bearing gifts for valentines day. There's always a reason for gifts right mom?:) It was so fun to see them! The boys loved having them there and ofcourse they are enjoying the gifts. Thanks mom and dad!

Sensitive Mommy Moment
I hope after I click "publish post" I won't feel dumb for posting this. But I am having a sensitive moment. There have been a few of my friends having babies lately, and it's been so fun to look at the pictures of those precious newborns. But I am feeling so sad at the same time, I thought my little Carter was still a baby (he's only 6 months, so he still totally is) But I guess just looking at how new those babies were, it just made Carter and J.J. seem like they are growing up so fast. It's making me want to take more time to slow down and enjoy them the way they are right now! I am learning that kids are alot of work, ESPECIALLY when they are young and so dependent on you, but they are so special and so fun, I just feel so lucky to be a mom! J.J. makes me laugh every day, and Carter is just such a sweet heart!
Just for the record, I'm not SAD enough to want another baby yet!

Eczema
It seems like EVERY kid has eczema or really dry skin problems, especially in the winter. My little Carter has the worst dry patches. My doctor just recomends lotioning 3 times daily with the lotion of your choice. I have tried a few different brands of lotion, does anyone have any recomendations?? Please let me know!
