Lost Season 4

Is anyone else way depressed that this season of Lost has come to an end. Does anyone else feel my pain??? This is the only show that I have ever felt like going back and watching it all from the beginning again just so I can have my fix of Lost for the week.
If you don't watch it... YOU HAVE GOT TO START NOW!
I was so sad for Sun, so happy for Desmond, and I couldn't believe who was in the casket at the end. This season finale kept me from exercising tonight, but it was so worth it.

Special Little Spirits

Sometimes the things J.J. says just melt my heart. Little kids are just so much closer to the spirit, and now that JJ is talking all the time he will talk about Jesus and all sorts of church things.
We always pass the temple on the way to run errands, J.J. will always take the time to recognize the temple, he will talk about how Jesus lives there, and how he's' going to go inside and see Heavenly Father.
J.J. also LOVES music so much, he is constantly humming a song, or tapping his hands to the beat in his head. I think music has such a powerful influence on our feelings, and sometimes when I will flip through the radio stations JJ will yell for me to stop at the Jesus song. He's done it a few times and I will go back to the station and it will be someone like Josh Grobin singing. Even little kids can feel that uplifting feeling when listening to good music.
I just wanted to write down a few of those experiences so I wouldn't forget how special my little J.J. is.

What's wrong with a Mullet

So I have spent a lot of time lately thinking about JJ's hair. It's so corse, it sticks straight up no matter what I try to do. As seen in this picture, the early phases of the mullet have started. It's hard to see, but it's getting pretty long in the back and he has a little bit of a tail in the picture. He could seriously rock the best mullet with his corse hair. It would be perfect. I am at a crossroads right now, do I cut it for summer? Or do I let it grow into the BEST mullet you've ever seen on a 2 year old?

5 LONG Years

Josh and I are celebrating our anniversary today. It's so neat to look back and think about all the things we have done so far in our married lives. We joke about it being 5 LONG years, but time has sure flown by. I am looking forward to many great years to come.

New Blue Stroller

Well I finally made it down to Utah to pick up my stroller that I bought off KSL classifieds. It's great! After patching a few tires we went for a little run yesterday. It's going to be soooo nice to take my little rugrats with me while I get a little exercise. And they LOVE riding in it! There were so many people out doing yard work because it was such a nice day, and JJ would seriously yell at everyone, he would say "we're in our new BLUE stroller"
It was almost kind of embarassing. I had to slow down to a walk because for some reason I was laughing so hard about it I couldn't run anymore. Or maybe I was just tired of running. Either way..... it was FUNNY!

Week in a nutshell

I feel like I have been so busy this week. Any time I havn't blogged for this long means I'm BUSY! I've been busy with work, planning a ward activity, potty training, cleaning up from the potty training, and doing all my other motherly jobs.

Let me just say, I most frusterating thing this week was POTTY TRAINING. We've found poo in the craziest places. I am constantly sanitizing everything! But I must say, potty training in the summer is way better.

He can run wild while I'm trying to clean up the mess that he's made.

After 5 days, he's getting a ton better! We are still struggling with number 2. Any suggestions from you potty training pros out there? I would love to hear anything that has worked.

Alot of movies were watching this week, I hate to do that, but at least they were mostly Baby Einstein so they were some what educational. Carter is loving movies now too, he looks so big sitting there with his big brother.

I babysat a few kids a couple times this week too. JJ love when friends come over, and crys EVERY time they leave.
